Bike brokedown...

Assalammualaikum and Good day to everyone.

I was on work assignment in Kota Tinggi from 13th - 16th April. Conducted Basic Business Accounting course for local entreprenuers there.

Took the KL NS Hiway to Kulai then to Kota Tinggi. A slight? miscalculation and ran out of fuel 35kms after Pagoh RnR. Called PLus emergency line for help. FYI the the reserve is good for about 30-35 kms not 70 kms as I thought before.

Return trip via Kluang - Ayer Keroh - Sg Udang, Melaka to PD - Sepang and onward to KL. Met Pegasotista (peg III) Fakruddin at the Sg Udang Army camp. He is a Medical Assistant at the camp hospital and runs a business selling army apparel. He bought a 1997 Pegaso III a few weeks ago.

The bike suddenly went dead at Bandar Baru Nilai... engine choked twice and then all electrical went off. Called Ghazali (he stays nearby and luckily was not working that day) who came over to help and to keep me company. Called Angah at Motomillia. Luckily their staff (Ijam and Bob) and the Aprilia lorry was at SIC at that time. Turned out the ignition switch cables got disconnected.

Got a ride home with Pegasotista Haleem who was on his way home from work in Putrajaya. The bike was taken to Motomillia for repairs. At the time of writing the bike is ready for collection.

Aprilia Solidarity Ride 29/03/2009

Alhamdulillah, Sunday 23rd March 2009 is a special day for Motomillia and MyClub Aprilia. It was the first time Aprilia riders got together in numbers. The ride to genting Sempah started at the Motomillia showroom in Bangsar meeting up with the rest of the riders at the Karak Highway BHP station.
As you can see from the pictures turnout was good. The whole Aprilia range was there including my 1995 Aprilia Pegaso I (now owned by Ismail). More picture will be made available at www.aprilia.com.my. The main objective of the ride is for us to get to know each others irrespective of the Aprilia model owned. Well I got to meet a few Pegaso riders like Hazman, Mazli etc. and we are now planning future rides.




The Pegasotistas heading home via the OGR (Old Gombak Road).... Way to go boys!!!...We do the backroads not the highways..

On behalf of the riders, A BIG THANK You to Motomillia for organising the ride....of course SYABAS!!!! to Rosman and Abu for a job well done.

The Strada

Here is a picture of the Strada taken on 15th. March 09. It's been 10 months since I took delivery of the Strada. Done 10,000 kms so far. So far it has served me well.

As of 6.30 pm today Friday 6th. June 2008 I became the owner of a Aprilia Black 2005 Aprilia Pegaso Strada. I will remain as klpegaso though. Its lower, lighter and smaller than my present Pegaso 3 and suits me just fine. Pictures coming....

Hi! KlPegaso here. Just started this blog today 29th. May 2008. I'll be writing to you about my favourite activity....Motorcycling and my biking gang..The Bagsters!

A little about me. I'm a 48 year old Melayu male residing in Tmn Melawati, Ulu Klang. Born in Bukit Besi, Dungun, Trengganu. Grew up in Kuala Rompin, Ipoh, Kuantan and finally Serdang (College of Agriculture) where I spent my secondary school days. Studied in ITM (then) and now working in a local bank. Happily married with 3 kids. Why the name KlPegaso? Its the bike that I currently own i.e. a 1997 Aprilia Pegaso 650.
