So sorry for not updating my blog for some time. I've been busy and also malas...
Sad news...Motomillia Sdn Bhd, the Malaysian importer for Aprilia has closed down on 30th. December 2009. word is NAzA is taking over the brand..don't know what that means. Hopefully our warranty is still intact.

The aprilia.com.my forum is also going kaput soon. So I'll have to report all my previous ride report. Lots of posting to do...

2009 has not been a good year for me as far as my career is concerned. I've gone down hill as far as my motivation is concerned. Now I am the Head of the Career Transition Center within the Group Human Capital.....a very depressing job...

In a few weeks I'll be hitting the half century mark...i.e. my 50th birthday is on the 7th of February...

My KPI for 2010 is firstly, to prepare for Haji and secondly to get things going for daughter Aidah's wedding in July....

Ride to Camang Waterfalls, Bentong

Assalammualaikum

Last Saturday 1st August, radszxi and i went to check out the Camang Waterfalls in Bentong Pahang, We took the Karak highway before turning into Bentong. To get to the waterfall you have to a left about 1 km after Bentong town and ride on for about 8 kms. The waterfall is right at the end of the road. All in it is about 60 kms from the Gombak Toll Plaza. The place is managed by the Jabatan Perhilitan, Pahang. Toilet facilites, surau and food outleats are available.

On the way back, we took the Bentong road to Genting Sempah and then the Old Gombak Road where Radzi was taken to the "Point'. After Nasi Ayam lunch in Tmn Melawati, we went to the ATV MALAYSIA Base in Kg. Kemensah, Ulu Kelang...

Just the other day some one asked me about my biking experience and how many bike I've owned. So Ii thought it would be good to post some pictures of my previous bikes.

Bike No 1.

A Red 1994 Kawasaki GPZ 500s (the one on the right in picture below). My first big bike. Bought second hand in 1996. Sold in 2008. A very powerful mid size bike.


Bike No. 2

A Blue 1992 Kawasaki GTR 1000 Concours (the one on the left in above picture). Purchased in 1999. Sold..reluctantly.. in mid 2001. Just couldn't handle the size after my bypass surgery. Great bike.


Bike No 3

A red 1995 Aprilia Pegaso I. Bought in 2003. Sold in 2006. My first dual purpose.


Bike No 4

A red 1997 pegaso 650 Cube. Bought in 2006. The bike I loved most. Taken me all over the country. Sold in mid 2008


Bike No 5

Also a red 1997 Pegaso 650 Cube but with lower mileage. Bought in May 2008, sold in November 2008 (Sorry can't find any pictures yet)


Bike No 6.

My current bike is a black Aprilia Pegaso Strada 650. Bought in mid 2008.

Pegasotistas at Aprilia Labour Day Ride 2009 Part 1

Assalammulaikum

6 Pegasotisas namely Mazli, Sham, Nizam, Sazali, Zaidi and yours truelly participated in the Aprilia Labour Day Ride 2009, a +/- 1,200 kms ride from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu to Penang Island via Gua Musang and the East West Highway respectively.

The convoy consisted 32 bikes of various models. An RS 125 low sided just before Gua Musang. The rider suffered a fracture right forearm. Another RS 125 broke down a few kilometres from Kuala Krai. Both bikes took the night train ride home from Kuala Krai.

Highlighted here are the exploits of the Pegasotistas who took a detour to Tok Bali where we had sata for tea at the roadside. We also stopped to enjoy the breeze at Pantai Bisikan Bayu.
This is what riding is all about...seeing places, meeting people, makan local food and enjoying the view.

Dinnerride to Bagan Lalang 25th April 2009

Assalammualaikum

A total of 5.0 Pegasotistas turned up for the ride. Starting from Bangi Toll Plaza we headed to Sg. Merab, Kg. Limau Manis, Jenderam and Dengkil. After Dengkil we turned left to check out The Paya Indah Wetlands. Very nice place. Spent half an hour there. Got to see the Badak Air aka Hippopotamus.
After that we headed for Pantai Klanang where we had Air Batu Campur aka ABC. On to Bagan Lalang for dinner. Stopped at Pantai Sepang Putra Resort for solat. Dinner at about 2100hrs. Left Bagan Lalang for home at 2230hrs via SIC and Elite Hiway. Sorry the pictures are not in sequence ...and no pictures of the Dinner.....too busy eating.

Stayed up for the Glory, Glory Man Utd game....what a game!!!!! Fell sick the next morning from exhaustion and lack of sleep but it was worth it!!!!...........stayed in bed till 1600hrs..........

Thanks Aznan, Ghazali, Hazman and Mazli for the ride and fun time.......we'll do the off road ride again one fine Sunday Morning.........
